Manning Compassion Center

Each Monday morning the Manning Compassion Center at College Hills assists local families with much needed food.  Due to the economy, more folks are needing assistance than ever before.

The Compassion Center is asking each Sunday morning adult class to donate specific items for the pantry each month.
Of course, you are welcome to bring items for the Compassion Center Food Pantry at any time; when you find a great sale, have extra coupons, or just want to add a few items to your grocery cart to give to those in need.  Monetary donations are also always welcomed.

General Food Pantry Needs Include:  Deodorant, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Bath Soap, Toilet Paper, Macaroni & Cheese, Hamburger Helper, Crackers, Rice, Canned Chicken, Tuna, Chicken Noodle Soup, Spaghetti, Spaghetti Sauce, Spaghetti O’s, Canned Fruit, Applesauce, Peanut Butter, Grape Jelly, Oatmeal, Cereal, Canned Potatoes, Green Beans, Peas, Corn, Mixed Vegetables, Pork & Beans, Canned Carrots, Dish Detergent, and Laundry Detergent.

Faithful Provisions is a ministry founded on the principles of Luke 12:24 and dedicated to showing individuals and families how to save money by encouraging, equipping and empowering good stewardship.

Check out the Faithful Provisions website, sign up for the newsletter and discover how you can be a better steward of the resources God has given you.  As you save money and get items at bargain prices (even FREE!), remember the Manning Compassion Center Food Pantry, M.A.G.I. Boxes, School Store, and other College Hills ministries that give items to those in need.

"These all look to you to give them their food at the proper time.
When you give it to them, they gather it up;
when you open your hand they are satisfied with good things."
