Future Family

What is your preferred future for your family? What exactly are we aiming for? Whether you're starting a new family, leaving an old one, or wondering if it's worth the effort at all—this series of classes will provide you with direction and hope. Aided by brief clips from Andy Stanley, our time together will help you decide what you want your family's future to look like and will help you plan how to get there.

 

Grief Share (6:00-7:30 PM)

Taught by Kevin Owen, DiAnna Boyd, and Troy Putman, Adult Wing Room 209

Continuing from last year, each session will view videos from Christian experts, share personal stories of people grieving death, and give dramatic reenactments to help you through the grief process. This class will last from January 10 to February 7. Even if you were not able to attend sessions last year, this class is still open to newcomers!

 

The Listening Life

Taught by John Grant, Room 205

In a noisy world, it is challenging to pay attention to the things that matter. This class will equip you to listen to God, to others, and to your own life.

 

The (Not) Fruit of the Spirit

Taught by Brandon Wagoner & Lamar Moore, Fellowship Center Room 302

This class will examine the character of God as evidenced by the fruit His Spirit bears and investigate what God intends for our life and dispel our own misconceptions. By examining Scripture, we will start to see the timelessness of these 9 traits and a world that hungers for them. 

 

Prayer Class

Prays for those in need and sends cards.

 

Proverbs: The Way of Wisdom (Ladies Class)

Taught by Dianna Stephens, Adult Wing Room 202

We are excited to join the She Reads Truth community and their study of the book of Proverbs. This class will explore the true and timeless wisdom that we all long for—by looking to the One who created us. Together we will find that the pursuit of wisdom, and God cannot be separated. The hope of this class is that we can journey together towards spiritual maturity.

 

Singing

A group meets to sing hymns that will be used in worship the next Sunday.
